Below are some very relevant databases for accessing information from publications that help researchers both in research development and in academia. Most are reference databases that allow exhaustive searches on specific subjects, with summaries and indication of full texts, which can be accessed when made available by an institution or even when it is open access. They also make it possible to export the results to bibliographic managers, and some databases provide an impact factor for publications, an H index and systems for metric analysis.
